Older News.....2017......

2 May: We launch the new season with some changes! First big news - we have a new coach: Wade Dannhauser, former swimmer having participated at SA Nationals level, coached by Graham Hill and father Delon Dannhauser, Wade brings in a new level of enthusiasm to our young squad. Wade becomes a dedicated Otto Coach, but will continue to be supported with programmes from Seagulls coaches, Delon and Calvin. Our more advanced swimmers will train with the appropriate squads at Lahee Park.

The second big news - SMJ is now a heated swimming pool, ready to be our winter base for the first time. This means that both our senior swimmers, intermediate and learn-to-swim groups continue to train throughout the winter months, for the first time in our club's history. We are hoping that this will see an increase in the ranks of our competitive swimmers.
